TV Exclusive: Dazzling, New Entertainment of the Regent Seven Seas Explorer!

Region 7 Seas Cruises is getting ready to launch their most luxurious ship

the 7 Seas Explorer. And we're here in Tampa, Florida at their creative studios

to give you a sneak peek at the dazzling new entertainment that will hit the high seas this summer

For the Region 7 Seas Explorer, it's the most luxurious ship in the world

And when I say it's the most luxurious ship in the world, I mean it

It's amazing. So when we had to step up and create entertainment for that

it was like, how can we take it to the next level? We wanted a variety, and I wanted a variety for the Region 7 Seas Explorer

and so the first show that we did, that we chose, was A Day in Hollywood, which is A Day in Hollywood

and Night in Ukraine. We got the exclusive license to do just the first act, so it's A Day in

Hollywood. So the director's fantastic, it's me. And then the second show we chose, we chose A

Tribute to Peggy Lee and it's a phenomenal show and basically it's the American Songbook as Peggy

The third show is by Patricia Wilcox. It a celebration of the Paris Cabaret in the vein of Moulin Rouge the Lido Falisse Regere but with our own special twist to it

And then the last show is called My Revolution, and that is by Peter Roby, who is famous for

Burn the Floor. So we have a full 60s pop type of music celebration, but done with a ballroom twist, as only Peter

could do it. So we really have this catalog of music and performance that I'm thrilled with

He just don't know the wrong or right Like an early cat

He meets the earth And loves the church And loves the church

Let the cats and do the church I'm ecstatic about the cast. I mean just the talent that we've acquired and have

hired for the first cast of the Region 7 Seas Explorer is top of the line

Look at this I'm with Amanda Lane. Look at you you look stunning here. Craig and

Pixie are putting her together so this is like the final few days before you head

out of Tampa and fly to Genoa right with the show. Yes, very excited to be part of this brand new project with the Region Explorer

So it been very hectic learning the four shows but I very excited to be part of a brand new ship These costumes are gorgeous and I just can wait to be there

and to see the amazing places in this luxurious ship. It's going to be great

How many costumes are you working on at Pinning? How many people over the next week or so

We have a fantastic cast of 12 with over 300 costumes for everyone

and our job is fantastic. We get to make pretty people even prettier

How difficult can that be? They work so hard, and the team here has created some magic

So, yeah. So welcome to our storage unit. Walk-in closet. Welcome to our walk-in closet

We pride ourselves on our costumes, and our costuming is, hands down, I think the best

From the tip of their toes to the top of their head, it's first-class quality all the way

Well, we are sitting in a bunch of magic, I have to be honest with you. such a blessing to be collaborating with designers from around the planet actually

and working with makers, notable makers in New York City and also some new friends in Hong Kong and Bangkok

and bringing it all together to create a remarkable theatrical experience for the explorer

When we do the one shift, we put the bar there so that the girls practice how to go through the hole

get into the trapeze and be ready for positioning Because when they get to the ship, they drop 36 feet

And in the past, before we had the studio, it took us anywhere from 45 days to train these girls to get them ready to get them comfortable to do the drop From here they literally get onto the ship go into the traffic It like oh this is easy

Boom, and off they go. So as we grow and as we develop new shows

with regards to circuit aerial equipment, we can adjust these spaces to work with the new choreography

to end the new show. So yeah, we're really proud of the space

The Constellation Theater on board the Region 7 Seas Explorer is literally a jewel box

It sits approximately 700 seats, so it's very intimate. Everything in the Constellation Theater was custom designed

We paid very close attention to detail. When I Crave designed this theater, we wanted to take the guests back to another time, to old Hollywood

The glamour, the opulence, the romantic, intimate seating you will only see on the Region 7 Seas Explorer

When we get to put our shows into those theaters, we get to incorporate our scenic design and our audio design into the overall design of the theater

So it's just, it's a sheer pleasure. You know, when you have this, you know, first of all, it's just a gorgeous theater

But to have that and then be able to, you know, create your art around and in this gorgeous space, it's great

And I think the Regent guests are really going to see a difference with the new product that is coming on board the ship
