The Kid Critics Had Nothing But a Good Time at ROCK OF AGES

Sandew. I'm 12 years old. I'm 14 years old. And the show I got to see was Rock of Angels

for a good time. How can I resistin' lookin' for nothing for a good time

In LA, on the Sunset Strip, a club called the Bourbon Room

is in danger of being torn down by a German developer and his son

But the Bourbon Room is going to try to go out with a bang

by having famous singer Stacey Jacks and his band perform there for their last concert ever

Meanwhile, the love of a bartender, Drew, a struggling musician who has dreams of being a rock star

and a girl who just came to LA, Sherry, she moves to LA to pursue her dreams

is being jeopardized by the fact that their interests are different. It doesn work out exactly Can the Sunset Script be saved and can their love be saved I knew a lot of the songs from the show because of my old parents who were born in the 70s

and grew up listening to a lot of 80s music. I knew Don't Stop Believing by Journey. I knew

two songs from Rock of Ages, Don't Stop Believin' and Hit Me With Your Best Shot. I actually like

a lot of 80s music better than pop music, surprisingly. To hear the other songs for the first time was a great surprise

I've never seen the movie Rock of Ages. No, I have not. I actually didn't even know it was a movie

I haven't seen the movie Rock of Ages yet, but after this show, I definitely will

After seeing the musical, I definitely want to to compare the stories and music and characters

My favorite character in Rock of Ages was Dennis, played by Matt Ban

He is the owner of The Bourbon Room and he is extremely cool and funny and great at acting

He actually has the biggest heart of any character in the show I don exactly know the name of the character but it was one of the people at the Birmingham Room and he was kind of like the comedic relief for the entire show and he was really really funny and I liked all his jokes

My favorite character was Drew, played by C.J. Eldred, because he had a great singing voice

and he had very candid acting choices among all of the over-the-top people in the show

I loved the musical number Don't Stop Believing because it is one of my favorite karaoke songs to do

And the whole cast invited the audience to sing along. It was so much fun

Don't Stop Believing because it's a really, really, the people who sung that song were incredible

My favorite song in Rock of Ages was Hit Me With Your Best Shot

The melody was so catchy that it was infectious. and I was singing it after I left the theater

It's cheesy, but it's from self-believing and chasing your dreams. I would say this show is more about having a good time than a serious moral per se The moral of Rock of Ages is Rock and roll

All kids would love the rock music and the fun story and cast of this show

I would advise it only for kids above 13 or maybe a mature 12-year-old

Um, my age and up, if you're mature, then yes. In the show, there's a lot of adult content

I think a lot of the material would go over kids' heads. However, if you have a soul, you can enjoy rocking out to this great musical

Rock of Ages is the ultimate musical for all people who love 80s music
