Teenage boy, Percy Jackson, is kicked out of school yet again, and he feels like there's something everyone's not telling him

Percy learns that he's the son of Poseidon, and has to go on a quest to find Zeus's lightning bolt to prevent a war between the gods

No pressure. He goes on a journey from New York to hell with two friends

Being a demigodess tough but Percy feels he has found people like himself at Camp Half Blood If he completes the journey he may be reunited with both of his parents If not you never know what might happen

I love the Percy Jackson series. I've read all the books. I think they bring Greek mythology to life in a modern way

No, I've never seen the books in the movies, but my brother really, really likes them, so I know a little bit

I have not read the Percy Jackson series or watch the movies, but I do know a lot of kids who have

I think the musical is a great adaption of the first Percy Jackson novel, The Lightning Thief

and I think fans like myself will be very pleased. I think anyone would like it. I really liked it

My favorite character was Percy, played by Chris McCarroll, because he had a different take on the character than I had envisioned from the book

which made the musical spontaneous and new. I also thought he had an amazing singing voice

and killer acting choices. Grover, played by Jorelle Javier, is my favorite character in The Lightning Thief

because he's extremely funny and charismatic. I really liked all the characters

but I think my favorite was Grover and also Mr. D. They're played by the same person

I thought the actor that played him was really, really funny. He has funny jokes such as

I was out solving all our problems Well while you two were in here not solving all our problems I got Amtrak tickets from the squirrel I think Son of Poseidon was really cool I really like the tune and I think the staging

and specifically that one, was really awesome because I think they had a sword fight

My favorite song was My Grand Plan, sung by the character Annabeth, played by Kristen Stokes

which totally steals the show. I'm obsessed with this song. It's so catchy. You'll find yourself singing it to sleep

My favorite song in the Lightning Thief is DOA, sung by the amazing Jilline Steele

who has such a powerhouse voice that it literally blasts the roof off the theater

It's a really fun song, and I think you'll come out of the theater singing

The moral of the story, Percy Jackson, is to accept your true identity

Because Percy Jackson didn't know who he was, he didn't know he was an illegal

By the end of the musical, he was like, I'm a demigod, and my father is Poseidon, and that is way cool

I think the moral of the Lightning Thief is to appreciate the people who do love you and not always be asking for someone else's affections

I think most other kids would enjoy the Lightning Thief because a lot of middle schoolers and a lot of elementary schoolers have read it

I think all kids, whether or not, not they familiar with Percy Jackson will enjoy the lightning thief because of its relatable themes and performances that you will hardly be able to separate from the characters It a very kid musical or it actually it just for all ages to be honest It also has some amazing

effects that help keep you engaged in the story and enhance the book and score a lot

I think kids will love Percy Jackson the musical because the music is in a pop

style and the acting choices are hilarious and any Percy Jackson super fan like myself

will love seeing these iconic characters brought to life there is no age limit
