Hi, I'm Alyssa Maygold

You probably don't recognize me from our dear drug lord because my hair is no longer green

And you definitely don't recognize me from the upcoming long-awaited. My God, finally at last Broadway premiere of how I learned to drive

Because we're doing the right thing, we're staying home. We're staying away from each other

And we're putting theater on pause. Even though it also feels very counterintuitive in a moment of widespread fear and uncertainty

and uncertainty to not be able to gather and tell stories. I think that's like one of the most universally human impulses

And I'm glad that technology means that we can at least do some version of theater, sharing

and storytelling. And so that's what I'm going to do. I love a show tune as much as the next person

The only thing I love more is New York, my city, that I have

that I have lived in through so many ends of the world

and come out the other side. So this is for New York Also this is a great time if you are able to go check out the Actors Fund and Broadway Cares They are both accepting donations right now to help all of the artists who lost their jobs in the last week

They provide all kinds of financial support and assistance and programming to artists in need all the time, but are especially mobilized right now

So if you're in a position to give, those are great organizations to go check out. Okay
