It felt just so comfortable and I feel like I didn't have to think as much as I do with like other jobs, you know, because it's just like me and Milo and it's just like, like, you know, we're here
0:09
Like coming home. Exactly. It's like, it's so comfortable and so it's nice
0:15
It felt more like home this time than any other time. Agreed. Yeah. A little warning next time, buddy
0:25
But thank you. Night, sunshine. Hey. Hello. Welcome. Oh, wow. Thank you
0:31
Of course. I did this all by myself, by the way. It's nice to be on vacation with you
0:36
Yeah, me and you. A million campers. Yeah. It's been a tough year
0:45
And even tougher not seeing you. And not going home this summer
0:50
I mean, Bucky's back from space. Bonzo and Bree just started their first summer jobs
0:54
Willa told me that winter's teaching meditation. I did not see that coming
1:00
But at least we have this little unplanned adventure Yeah, helping new friends
1:06
Who helped us? I so grateful that Victor stood up for you Same with Nova Do they remind you of anyone we know Uh two kids thrown together
1:20
Their people are enemies. Yeah, yeah, it reminds me of two someone we know
1:29
You've both kind of grown up playing Zed and Addison, but this time around you're executive producers as well
1:35
which is awesome. How much did stepping into that new role influence the direction of your characters and or the story this time around
1:44
Oh, I think it was really cool. I think, you know, we've been using the word meta a lot
1:50
I think, you know, stepping into our executive producer roles, like we had a lot more say and a lot more kind of like a leadership hat on
1:59
And I think Zed Madison did, too. I think, you know, obviously in the like from Zombies one to three, they are definitely leaders, but it's more amongst their peers
2:08
But like this is a movie where they're like teaching their what they've learned on to like kids who are younger than them
2:13
And I feel like that's what we were doing as well. So I think I think that kind of influenced how we played Zed and Addison because it was kind of happening in real life
2:21
So it was pretty easy to kind of put into Zed and Addison as well Yeah I thought that throughout the whole franchise we always at least been vocal to each other about you know this movie and things we would want to do in an ideal world
2:34
or how we can make things better. And now we could really voice that to the production
2:40
And we had amazing other producers that worked with us as well. But no, we really just like voiced the fun stuff
2:48
I mean, we can't help but create. We're creative people. I think everybody is creative
2:53
but it's really playful and fun. And you get to come up with those things as you're living it and as you're
2:59
doing it. So I think the character of Zedd inspired producer Milo a lot
3:04
but I'm hopefully like, I don't think that anything that I learned as a producer affected the
3:11
performance too much. I just really wanted to honor this story where Addison and Zedd are now like
3:16
leaders to this younger generation. I love that. And I mean, you both done so much incredible work since the first film and Milo
3:24
you just finished Little Shop. Meg, you're one of the finalists on The Masked Singer. You have a new EP out
3:30
What did it, what was it like to come back to these characters in the midst of all these other
3:35
you know, amazing career things? That like the beauty of doing something like this is that there two or three years in between each movie so when you come back you really it like you really get to see how you changed it
3:50
like a checkpoint because i mean especially this one was a little bit different because
3:55
you know we are with the zombies family but we're with completely new people in a new place but like
4:01
zombies one two and three that was all in toronto so going back to the second and third movie
4:05
we're back with the exact same people we were exactly two years ago but we feel so different
4:11
so how have we changed and you get to really see that but zombies four was just like a completely
4:17
new experience for me um but i don't even know i forgot the question i'm just that's okay
4:23
i think it was really cool i think um honestly like living all of these different lives and
4:31
coming back to Zed and Addison was just really special it was so much work and it was very
4:36
challenging but at the same time it felt just so comfortable and I feel like I didn't have to think
4:40
as much as I do with like other jobs you know because it's just like me and Milo and it's just
4:45
like like you know we're here like coming home exactly it's like it's so comfortable and so um
4:51
it's nice this time than at the other time agreed yeah
