That makes me just very recently attacked by the Dance Captain from Disney's smash hit, Aladdin

which is now in its fourth year. Yeah, which is amazing. It makes it a huge hit

So, the canon, talk to me a little bit about what we're gonna do today from Aladdin

Alright, we're gonna do Arabian Nights. Arabian Niiiight! Okay, start at the very beginning, it's a very good place to start. Yep

It shows all the different nuances of Agatha. It shows excitement, danger, romance, you know, all these different things, right

It's a postcard to the audience, right? That's what he always says. This is a postcard, this is welcoming, this is inviting

Okay, I feel like I'm gonna really channel the romantic aspects of agro-bomb

Alright, go for it. I can't wait to see that. Alright, so how am I gonna start? Hands are gonna come across your face. Right hand close to your body

I'm having a D-a moment. I feel like I'm on the steps of the Kaso Rosata

Just push it up. Neet-a-ray-been. The trick is like almost moving your head like as little as possible

So we just go like ba ba ba ba ba. It's sharp but subtle

So our feet are just going ba ba ba. Like our heels are going to the right

I don't feel like someone is like pulling your pocket as you're trying to go to the left. Ba ba ba. Yeah

Like you're getting robbed on the subway. That's the romantic butt portion

We go, Moons, bop, bop, bop, touchdown. Yep. Touchdown, right? Play a few dead, right

Then we go off to releve. And we pull back. Like, uh, bow and arrow. Yeah

So that goes a fool off his guard, bam. Off his guard, bam

And fall, and fall hard out. So we're just going off to releve

It's as though we have our hips on this 45, and then we take it to that 45 and back down. Yeah

We open up to releve, and we just settle back in the plie

So this is that same step from before, this step. Only our hands are going to be different

This right hand's going to come under to the left. We go flick, flick, flick, flick. Yeah

And then we're going to cross our hands. OK. right open step on the left and then slap the dirt on the boot and land on it yeah

hit it land back back back back yeah yes our hands are just gonna flip over and

we're just gonna shake yeah yeah that's what your mom gave you hands so we go one

Okay, time to talk to me, dramaturgy. Come in to Agrabah. Listen, we have two and a half hours left

Arabian nights, Arabian nights, Arabian. And whatever you wanna do with your hand

if you wanna spin that bad boy, if you wanna get down to a plie

for this show. What's the key to keeping it fresh as the dance captain? Well, that's probably the most difficult part of keeping this show running and running

how it was set in the beginning and what people saw over the opening night

Have you been there from the beginning? Yeah, yeah. nice that I have a background in what was happening in the rehearsal studios
