Hi, I'm not
0:03
I'm from Club 11 and we have produced Carrie's album
0:22
I'm Carrie and I sang on the album. I'm Mark, I'm the other half of Club 11
0:28
So you've literally just signed some tracks from your album. I have. I feel a bit sick still, yes
0:33
Sounded amazing, how did you go, the audience and loved it? Yeah, I mean, it's so lovely because it's an audience filled with all of my family and friends
0:40
and did you see my mum afterwards, she's burst straight into tears, and then I burst into tears
0:45
Oh, I can't take her anywhere. But yeah, it's so lovely because it's just an audience filled with people who love me and who I love
0:51
and so it was just nice to be up there with a supportive vibe
0:55
It was lovely. The album went from basically north to 150. to 157 days and have your hair
0:59
Tell us how do you kind of sit around and have a cup of tea one day and was like, hey
1:02
It was literally. That we was in a cafe. Let's do an album, okay
1:07
Sure. Track list. Track list, okay. Then it just happened, didn't you
1:11
That was it? Yeah. It literally never was the first week in January
1:16
It was literally a conversation in a little bakery slash tea shop and then a couple weeks ago we were holding it
1:23
I think there two key people who really made that happen and that was Tom Barnes the arranger orchestrator and James Knight who was the mix engineer who put the whole album together
1:34
And those two really just made it happen. And I think the most incredible thing about this album is that everybody invested in it
1:41
not in just a kind of this is another gig for us, this is another job, but everybody properly, truly believed in the product, believed in the album and really, really put everything into it
1:50
So much time. So much time. And love. So much time and love
1:54
Yeah, I think that's the key thing for me is that everyone working on it was so warm and just so supportive and loving of each other
2:01
and the project. Well, all areas. You know, PR through to design, through to styling, through to production
2:07
Even the people who printed the CDs, everyone really pulled together. Kind of built a dreamtree. Yeah
2:11
I don't actually want to work with anyone else. I know. So how is it to add recording artists
2:16
to your, really, all your skills? You've got enough. To be honest, you're not good enough
2:21
Oh, I've not thought about it. Thank you. I've not thought about it yet because I just, I mean, if tonight's anything to go by
2:28
I just freak out so easily about everything, but mostly being on stage as myself and not having something to hide behind
2:35
So I'm just trying desperately not to think about it until suddenly it's all on top of me this weekend
2:44
Tell a little bit more about Club 11. How did that happen and what is it you guys do
2:47
Yeah, take the heat off me. Come on, guys. Well I guess Club 11 started about two and a half years ago of a complete accident really wasn it It was So Shoshana Bean wanted to come to London to do a concert but had no one to produce her I known her for a while And it was like should we do it
3:02
Mark, do you want to do it? Yeah, let's do it. And we've done 50 concerts since then
3:07
And we've got some big ones coming up. I think... It's been a bit crazy
3:12
It's been really crazy two and a half years. And I think the key thing about what we've done is surrounded ourselves with people who we trust
3:19
and who we respect and really learned... the industry and learn kind of how to do it
3:25
We cut our teeth, mainly the Hippodrome, most of the shows we've produced have been there
3:28
and now we're moving to the Cadigan. We've got some shows lined up this year that are, again, in a bigger venue than that
3:33
So, you know, we've really tried to do it step by step and learn how to do it properly
3:38
treating people the correct way, you know, rather than just jumping head first into a show of the upper hall
3:45
But we did jump in headfirst with great names, like Titus Pudges and Jeremy Jordan and Matthew Morrison, etc
3:51
and Michael Ball even here. So we've been lucky. We have had some really average performers
3:57
come to London. But I think I want to jump to this. The thing with you guys though is that you're so nice to work with
4:02
and I think that's so, I think it's just so rare. You get people who are so talented and so good at what they do
4:07
and then they turn out to not be very nice people and I think you guys are such an exception to that rule
4:13
I love you guys and I love working with you guys. Liz's gonna cry again twice this week
4:18
I know we've broken him a little bit. You said you got some other big people coming up We have We got Megan Hilty in June which is only about eight weeks away which we thrilled about We have the first outing of the Light Princess
4:33
run at the National with Rosie and Hadley, which is so excited about it
4:39
So excited about that. So excited about that. And then... The lady who started it. We're bringing Shana Bean back
4:46
with a 18-piece jazz band. Cash. Casual. And then we have two of the other
4:51
The very big ones which we're going to announce in the next few weeks. Very, very big. Cryptic
4:55
It's me again. It's me again. We can't get rid of her now. Yeah, we can't
5:00
Where can we find your album? These guys are better of doing that. Everything is going out of my head
5:06

5:23
