Wait, what you rush, watch a hurry. He gave me such a fright, I thought you was a gorse, half a minute
0:14
can't you sit, set you down, sit? All I meant is that I haven't seen a customer for weeks
0:18
Did you come here for a pie, sir? Oh my goodness. Hello everyone and welcome to Miss Claus's Corner
0:29
Of course, we're in the North Pole at my kitchen, and I've got my trusty assistant elf, Catherine
0:35
She helps me so much. A big hand for Catherine. Yay! All right, as you know, during quarantine and COVID
0:43
we had to take up hobbies. Now, my hobby became baking. I became so good at it, shared it with all the elves
0:50
Everyone loves it that I turned it into a cooking show. Today, we're going to be making raspberry lemon poke
0:59
Raspberry lemon pork cake. All right, let's show them some of the ingredients
1:03
Catherine Lowe. Now, Catherine, being my assistant, prepared these little lemon loaf cakes
1:09
Look at them for cute. Durn your doodles. And then the next ingredient it really simple Raspberry gelatin And then our favorite thing a skewer to poke things with
1:25
Last time I had a little mishap with band-aids and just a little pain, but you know what
1:31
No pain, no gain. Okay, so you take one cup of water and you get it to boil on the stove
1:38
So then you take your chelelotin and you open it up, the raspberry and you open it up
1:44
it up the raspberry and you put it in. That's so pretty right. All right. Now we put in the boiling water. Make sure you turn off the stove
1:54
Oh it's spitting. Oh my goodness. Oh, what's supposed to happen? All right there. I'm pouring it in. I'm going to ask my friend Stephen. He's a baker. He's in the state. All right. And I'm risking it. I'm whisking it. Then we take a half a cup of cold water and put it in there
2:14
And we whisk it in again. I think we keep stirring. I'm gonna keep stirring
2:20
And now the fun part, we get to poke it. Polk, poke, poke, poke, poke
2:26
And now we pour the gelatin. And now we pour the gelatin
2:36
It a little runny but I sure it set Miss Claus Oh my goodness Mr Claus is calling my name I be right back
2:46
Captain Elf, tell the kid's a joke. Okay. Um, so what did they call the boy that was afraid of Santa Claus
2:57
Clauserophobic. Okay, I'm back. Well, well, ya, look at that
3:10
Oh, through the magic of the North Pole and my baking show, this turned into the most beautiful raspberry lemon loaf cake ever
3:20
You can do it too. Thank you again for joining Miss Claus's Corner with my wonderful assistant Catherine Elf
3:29
We're going to toast here at the end because you know what goes really well with these wonderful raspberry lemon pole cake

some lovely tea. Should you have some tea? There you go. Great. And of course, if you want to get on the
3:41
nice list, there's still time. You can make a donation to New Paradine Theater Company, one of my favorite
3:47
places, and you immediately get on fast traction to the nice list. So you're going to enjoy this with us
4:26
Mm-hmm. I do. Okay. And the next thing we get to do is we pour the gelatin
4:35
I pause that because I only get one of these. So what did they call the boy that was afraid of Santa Claus? Clostrophobic. Plasrophobic
4:48
Like, really go for it. Clostrophobic. Clostrophobic. Yeah. It's okay to be what I leave. Okay
4:54
You can sing the Miss Claus theme song with us here at the end while we have our toast
