I want to act. Where do I train?It's all about choosing the right program. It may sound obvious, but if you want to be an actor, go to an acting school. However, if you want to be an actor in musical theatre go to a musical theatre school. Either way, it's good to have a strong foundation before starting an intensive program. Find out as much as you can about the programs you're applying for. Look for how many hours you'll be acting, singing or dancing.
