5 Looks Inspired by Disney Leading Ladies on The Dressing Room with Jamie Glickman!

Hi Broadway world! My name is Jamie Glickman and welcome back to The Dressing Room where we talk

about everything at the intersection of theater, style, and beauty. In today's episode I'm going

to show you some outfits that I put together inspired by the leading ladies of Disney on

Broadway. These outfits were so much fun to put together. I kind of just like boiled down each

character to like what they are like most known for. These outfits are pretty much like what

these Disney leading ladies would wear on their day off to go like to the dentist or like to the

mall. I think this shirt like screams Disney. It has like the the puffy shoulders. I can't tell if

Elsa is such a strong character and I love that she's so independent and fierce and I love her pantsuit fit

So this outfit is more inspired by that. My jeans are from Urban Outfitters. My sweater is Nasty Gal and my jacket is from Target

the best place on planet earth. We obviously need a braid because it's Elsa and that's her

iconic hair. So I'm just loosely braiding it. It doesn't need to be perfect because she's on the

move and like, you know, ruling a kingdom. So, and it's cold in Arendelle, so you got to put on

a hat. And this one is from Brandy Melville. It's so cute. Singing a little, let it go there

um yeah love this outfit so cozy so cute and so elsa love it

this outfit is inspired by arielle from the little mermaid i just love these colors together they so pretty my skirt and sweater are both from nasty gal my sneakers are Puma they so comfortable and I just wearing some like old chunky socks I found

The bag I'm wearing actually belonged to my great grandma, and I just thought it worked so well

you know, to hold all the gadgets and gizmos. And my shell earrings are by Ana Luisa

and my pearl necklace is by Joey Baby Wong, and I had a very important call on my shell phone

So this outfit is obviously inspired by Belle from Beauty and the Beast. I love the gold

and the blue and I'm doing the iconic half up half down bun look that she rocks when she's

wearing the dress just made it a little bit more messy and casual my sweater is a nasty gal my

jeans are top shop and my shoes are dsw and my jacket is a teddy sherpa coat from the gap and

it kind of looks like the beast's like fur is that weird because it looks like she like is wearing

his fur but like she's not it's fine she's reading a book she loves jonathan van ness and that's it

So this outfit is inspired by Esmerelda from The Hunchback of Notre Dame This look is definitely a modern take on her costume and I kind of blended the animated version and the stage version She wears a lot of purple and like maroon and fuchsia

so I'm wearing some fun purple pleather pants from Nasty Gal and a button-down shirt that I've

had in my closet since like eighth grade from Old Navy and my shoes are Zara and my headband is from

Forever 21. This look is so fun and I just love it so much and yes. This look is inspired by the

iconic Mary Poppins, otherwise known as M-Pops. The movie and musical are both so beautiful and

amazing, and I was actually Mary Poppins in my senior play in high school. Shout out, Calvin

So this look is my personal fave. I put my hair in a sleek back bun, and I'm adding some red lipstick

and some blush for those rosy cheeks that she has, and like, don't be afraid to go crazy with

the blush because Mary loves blush, so go for it. My shirt is Nasty Gal, my jeans are Urban

outfitters and my jacket is from Abercrombie. Gotta have a big bag and an umbrella and now

you're ready to fly through the sky and be the best nanny in the whole wide world. So, bye
